Admiring Djimon

Djimon Hounsou is an actor that these days appears in movies like the upcoming The Kings Man as well as being in the Marvel Universe. Back in his early days he appeared in music videos for Madonna, Paula Abdul and Janet Jackson. I first came to notice him back when I didn't realise I was gay but found myself entranced by his striking good looks, powerful body and the fact that he had an octopus on his head. That image by the incredible Herb Ritts has been often imitated and never matched.
If you see Djimon now, he is still in incredible shape and doesn't look anywhere near his 57 years of age. After all, as Oprah said, black don't crack and there is barely a trace of ageing beyond some grey in his beard.
I would be very interested to hear what he says about those early days nude in front of the camera. After all there aren't many whose early nudes are taken by legends like Herb Ritts and Greg Gorman.
