The gorgeous Will is one of those guys you see on instagram through mutual connections and he always looked really fun. The mutual connections that I saw him with were all people I like too which was a great thing. Then I saw a cheeky photo of him riding a bicycle nude in a park somewhere laughing like he was having the best time and I knew he was right for a shoot.

To be honest I don't know what inspires me sometimes or where the ideas come from but I wanted to lean in to his pale complexion and red hair so we went for a white backdrop and some orange body paint. At times I frustrate myself. I rushed this bodypaint (and others) because I don't want to keep the model waiting or make them uncomfortable. Thankfully I was happy with the end result of this shoot.

Photographing tall people like Will can be tricky in a studio as there is only so much space and so much background available unless you are lucky enough to have a huge, glamorous studio, but his long limbs and athletic build look so good on camera.

Will is one of those models who took me by surprise with how far he was willing to go on camera as you will see if you check out the full download. Will subsequently came back for a bed shoot a couple of years later. Maybe it's time I photograph him running around nude in nature too.
