Learning Magic - Berk (part 3)

*Back at the training centre* Berk: ughhh im never going to learn how to do magic. All im really good for is brute force. Tay: Hey there, handsome. i know you've been having a hard time to try using magic, so i brought someone to help. this is Lunrich. He's also a mage that specializes in physical enhancement magic. Lunrich: Hey, im doing this only cause I can't say no. Tay: If you dont want to, you could always say no... stripping one of free will is always an option. Lunrich: Im okay im fine. I'll teach haha its no different than my dojo right hahaha. Berk: Tay it's okay. i probably can't do it even if he taught me. Tay: ohhh... dont lose heart, okay? Just keep trying. im sure you'll get there eventually. Lunrich: It's okay. I'll teach him, then you'll owe me one round Tay. Tay: I'll leave it to you then. Lunrich: All right, let's see how much mana you can generate. Berk: I can't feel it or generate it Lunrich: Hmm. that is a problem. Okay, let me try something. Im going to inject some mana into you that should jumpstart the process. * Standing up and walking to him, Lunrich finally understood how big Berk was. Lunrich was amen of stature himself at 6'5", and yet he only reached the under side of Berk's pecs. Nevertheless, Lunrich did what he had to do. placing a palm on Berk's abs, feeling the highly coragulled abs before injecting some of his own mana into Berk.* Berk: mhmm that did not feel good. I feel hot. Lunrich: Well that would be expected since I have an affinity to fire first before I specialize in physical enhancements. Big men like us should use our strength and magic to fight with our bodies. Take your clothes off and come at me. You must feel that heat be channelled in your body coursing through the fibers and then unleashing it. If you can land one strike on me you have learnt the basics. *Berk nods compliantly and removes his shirt. Lunrich eyes widen at the display of musculature from even the slightest movements made by Berk. Lunrich knew Berk was big but never expected to see the beautiful chiseled physique under his loose clothes. Berk easily was the biggest most impressive student Lunrich has ever had. He remembers that at Berks age he was no where near the sheer definition and strength of tempered muscle in comparison to the monster that stood in front of him. Without as much as a word, Berk dashed forward closing the distance between them catching Lunrich off guard throwing a deadly wound up straight punch. with sheer reflexes Lunrich raised his construct arm blocking the punch and then the next. the punches were heavy get quick. It was once again another time that Lunrich feels threatened for his life. Although different from when he faught with Legendary beast that pushed him to his limit, It was definitely a threat, even a single punch could potentially tear him limb from limb. Even placing a barrier could not stop the onslaught of punches cracking and chipping away at Lunrich's barrier with each blow... but then they just stopped.* Lunrich: you good? Damn your scary underneath all that wholesome demeanour. Berk: why... am I so tired? It feels like my strength is being saped. Lunrich: so you finally noticed huh. I believe Tay warned you before didnt he, when I forced some of my own mana in you, it triggered all the mana in your body to react making you go on a frenzy but now that you've used all of it to attack me, you barely have any strength left, since you've not learnt to gather mana. But I'll say you're really something still being conscious after all that expenditure. So since you're still around, let's practice some mana gathering by meditation. *several hours later* Lunrich: Alright now as ive taught you. * Berk clears his mind and focus on the feeling of cycling mana through his body and out while gathering the mana in the air through his skin. Trails of crystal blue gather around his palm and flowed to the tips of his fingers forming a stream as his arms moved.* Lunrich: congrats boy you've learnt the basics of magic. I believe Tay will teach you the rest, but remember practice and discipline is key although I don't think you would have any issue with that. Berk: Thank you, Master Lunrich.
