Camping on a Tiny Island in Sub-Zero Weather
Added 2023-02-15 20:39:49 +0000 UTCAt the very end of 2022, the south west of England experienced some extremely heavy rainfall. This resulted in a large section of the Somerset Levels flooding, turning what is ordinarily farmland, into a massive reservoir.
Making the most of this change in the landscape, I loaded up a kayak with some camping equipment and headed off across the water. My aim: find a small island upon which I could spend the night...
