Big shout out to Carlos, the life saver!

Andreas Kohler

Vadim that is awesome. are you going to film this journey?

Tessa Pineapple

So I’m living in Israel, we have a river called Jordan, and I’m gonna make a similar trip 30km (19 miles ig) down the river, which gets pretty narrow and shallow here and there. But I hope I’m going to make it within 2 days on my inflatable kayak from Decathlon without getting busted in the natural reserve and without a hole in my trusty kayak. Wish me luck! Congrats on your trip!

V, Ape Has Gone Boom

I can relate to the looks! Bet it was a blast though :)

Ed Pratt

Cheers Thiemo! I tried to stay within comfortable river bank distance. It also gave me a lot of confidence that the boat seemed extremely stable - much more so than the fibreglass one I took out into the flooding

Ed Pratt

Perhaps I will. Certainly stay tuned because I may well have something in the works happing soon…

Ed Pratt

Ed, maybe return to the travelling life? Do something like, "Ed's world adventures" or something like that? I mean the unicycle stuff was fun because of the adventure that we all got share.

Dave Jeffers

That looks like great fun you could always find adventure if you look

Danielle Miller

Ed, you're capable of so much more than you allow yourself to know. I'm following to watch you realize those things. Keep pushing. I envy your youth.

Ben Fortner

Great achievement. Great series. This is far more enjoyable then Netflix :D. I thinks it's unreasonable to paddle in a river you cannot get out of if the inflated plastic thingy goes down. So as far as i am concerned you stayed well within "following as closely as possible", overdoing it in some cases ;). I should rewatch the little island in the flood the next days.

Thiemo Fischer

Yeah, the trip was always more of a framework to get out and explore the local area. Although it has sparked a desire in me to perhaps attempt it again (on a different river) with the aim of being a little stricter on myself to stick closer to it.

Ed Pratt

I was initially let down until you stated, "no." Thanks for the inspiration. I'm looking forward to where the world takes us next 🤘

Ben Fortner

Great effort, and great series. When I as a lad we kayaked the decidedly unkayakable river Frome just North of Bristol from Frampton Cotterell to Winterbourne Down. A whole day for about two miles, completely covered in mud, then had to carry the kayaks home again. Many many funny looks!

Sam Jones

I love how you were so anxious about running into people, but when you did run into people they were so kind and curious.

Jason Barnes

Thank you Milan!

Ed Pratt

Well done Ed! Can't imagine the mental toll it takes to keep filming while out of energy, but still setting up the go pros, stopping the boat and fetching it again and again. But I think it paid off, I really enjoyed the cinematography and editing!

Milan Bharanya

Similar concept I know :)

Ed Pratt

Has someone been watching a lot of Beau Miles?

Elliot McCreanor

Thank you Andy! That’s really great to hear. These series always take me longer to put together that I think they will, so it’s lovely to hear that the work is appreciated :)

Ed Pratt

Great series Ed! Loved every minute.
