Hello patrons!

It's been a bit since we had a story update for you in Coffee Buns, but we've got a nice big one for you today! It's also a somewhat new type of story for us, with lots of variation based on your choices. Unlike Mice tea with its clean breaks after each choice, Coffee Buns returns to a main story trunk after each decision, but those choices have to be accounted for in that main story. As such, there will be many subtly different versions of the same scene based on who you've spent time with in the story to that point. It's a new type of writing for us, and we hope we tied up all the loose ends, but let us know if you find any discrepancies in the continuity of the writing.

But first, let's tell you all what you can look forward to in this update!

New Story - Day 6

Leo has just finished his first day as a bunny girl, and his transformation is still acting in unpredictable ways. He's gotten back to being a human and can still exert some control on his shape, but it's less than he'd like and his body still isn't quite cooperating, especially during inopportune times.

Leo isn't taking this lying down, though, and this update includes him taking more control of how he's reacting to the changes. Find out what that entails in the latest day of story in this update!

New Music - Ash and Naomi's theme

In one update, we've tripled our amount of new music in Coffee Buns with the addition of Ash's and Naomi's themes! The former is a cold, rocking track that contains a distinct element of an existing track from Mice Tea, while Naomi's is a funky, upbeat piece that complements her fun-loving, upbeat personality. You can find both tracks in the new day of story, but also sprinkled throughout the VN up to this point. Take a listen for yourself and see what a great job our composer Will did!

New Art - New CGs and new Sprites

First, UltraBondageFairy has completed her second CG, another solo scene with Leo inspecting his new body and equipment with the aid of a mirror. This is one of the more inventive compositions we've had in our VNs, and really gets up close and intimate with Leo. We think it's a really sexy scene that's worth a reread with the new art!

Second, The Transformistress has completed two new CGs for this month, one of which with three different alts depending on your choices. Once again she drew a big, luxurious panning CG to show off the detail in her work, as well as three new outfits that she herself designed!

Those outfits are also featured in some of the new sprites KDhynamo has drawn, in addition to other new outfits. He's also spiffed up some recurring NPCs to show off the effects of the tea, one for a character appearing for the first time in this update, and another being Adrianna, who showed up in Boss's shopping scene, who has a fun new feline appearance.

KD also completed the illustration of Debbie (the black-furred one) that appears on Day 5 at Ash's apartment, as well as a new illustration of Naomi that appears in the new story. It's one of the more cartoony, fun pieces we've done in any of our VNs and think you'll all get a kick out of it.

New Backgrounds - Ash's Apartment

Heart treats us to another excellent background of Ash's apartment! This one is based on her personal life as someone who lives with a crafty, maker-type person and showcases Ash's hidden creative side. There's lots of little details to pour over in this one so maybe spend the night at Ash's and see how it looks!
