The jury probably took the underage sex as a huge factor in their deliberation (which is a disgusting crime) but that doesnāt mean she did not know what she was doing and was not also manipulating wtv these predators wanted from her. She knew what they wanted and she also knew how she can use it (their disgusting urges) and use them to do what she fantasized about doing. Iām sure she probably regrets now as an adult to have your mother not be in your life anymore just because of some teenage misperception (like we all had at some point) as an adult now.

Alaska is much like my shifts; usually nothing happens but when it does, it's monumental. 99.9% of the people here are wonderful and kind but it's the .1% that screw it up and disrupt our peaceful lives. With a population of less than a million that isn't a lot of people.

2021-12-09 21:26:21 +0000 UTCCompletely agree. Teenagers indulge in fantasies like this, every story a teenager tells you will always feature them as either the hero or the victim. Even if she did discuss āsaving her from her Motherā with them & went so far as discussing how they could do it, itās entirely possible that was more fantasy. I remember talking about running away with my school friends when I was 7- I was absolutely shocked when they did it & expected me to go with them (I still didnāt believe they would do it at that stage). I got in serious trouble because they were gone for hours, the whole of Liverpool was looking for them & a massive police operation was launched & I hadnāt said anything. Luckily that worked out fine, they found them around midnight & took them home, but I still shudder at the memory of how much trouble was heaped on my head over that! Thereās not enough evidence either way in this case & it feels like the right outcome. Sometimes itās like the US justice system just wants to punish girls for having sex- like theyāre capable of anything if they do that- mad!

It doesn't take a genius to figure that out...no jail time required. Great chapter though, I do watch other true crime videos and none are as good or nearly as detailed as yours. If they were genuinely concerned for her well being they shouldāve called CPS. The reaction of grown men upon hearing the whinges of a teenager should not be to murder the mother! If they were her age, then maybe it would be understandable, though not excusable, but they were almost twice her age and almost 30.
