Charm Designs (Wave 7)

lucas (and boney!), gum, and robotnik. lets break it down-
lucas and boney complete the mother 3 quartet across 3 separate charms. lucas is almost always with boney throughout the game, so it felt fitting to include the two of them. i had some hesitation doing lucas, because i always pictured him as being taller and scrawnier than ness, but couldn't really picture how i'd illustrate that without it looking odd. i think i figured it out. boney, of course, is inspired by his smash ultimate design.
gum was another character i had trouble stylizing, but ended up winging it and she came out pretty well. no real complaints other than that she's a bit more "plain" looking compared to beat- but i think regardless she looks good. i'm very happy with how her face came out in particular!
and then there's robotnik- for some reason, i can never draw him satisfyingly. that's not to say i'm dissatisfied with him here- he came out pretty well- but his proportions and head are so specific in my mind that i usually struggle to draw him well. but hey, that's three sonic characters!
