Hello everyone!
Yesterday was the first live streamed QnA. In case anyone missed it, here is the entire thing, unedited.
The video link provided should take you to where I start talking.
This is pretty lengthy - 2 hours long. There's a good chance I'll be editing this video into smaller pieces where each question is addressed separately.
I've made more headway in the Polyrhythm course. My goal is to have it finished and out by the end of the month.
I'd imagine all of you have seen the first video put out.
Currently scripted are videos on:
•What polymeters are and some examples
•How you can figure out the count to any polyrhythm
I'm writing out music examples for all of the polyrhythms I intend to use for the 4th (or more) video(s).
YouTube will be getting the 2nd video demonstrating polymeters, the 3rd video on how to figure out polyrhythm counts, and a 4th one that demonstrates at least 4 different polyrhythms.
You guys will get a lot more.
I'm going to have examples for at least these four polyrhythms:
3:2
4:3
5:3
5:4
Each of those will get 10 different examples, starting with something fairly easy and progressively getting more difficult.
You guys will get to see all of these videos. YouTube viewers (who are not patreon members) will only get the first example of each polyrhythm.
I'm considering flipping those ratios around, as that is certainly a possibility and brings a whole different feel to what you're playing.
Another consideration is getting a subscription to Sibelius so I can work out polyrhythms WITHIN polyrhythms. Guitar Pro can't do this.
I'll keep giving updates as they come available.
