Paul Gilbert Sixes Inspired Shred Guitar Etude in G/Em #1

This shred guitar etude is inspired by Paul Gilbert sixes. Basically, you go up six notes across two strings, then start the next six notes on the same string you ended the first group of six notes. Do this until you reach the top two strings, then go down in the same fashion.

This is played in the key of G/Em, and begins with the 3 notes per string F# Locrian mode/scale shape. It climbs up a full octave and then resolves to a G note.

Which finger you use to shift would depend on what you're playing. Do you have any example(s) you could send me?

Just an idea. Wonder if you could do a lesson in the future covering sixteenth note triplet ascending (and descending) runs that goes through all 6 strings and 3+ octaves in one go? And maybe go into detail about fingering when shifting position up and down? Often i'm not sure of which finger should do two consecutive notes when shifting position. The index or pinky?

A nice everyday workout routine actually.
