Hey Rotti patrons!
This week I have something a bit different from what I've been posting throughout September! Instead of a chilled out, sample based track, here's a darker synthwave banger instead!

As mentioned in the MP3 post, this track was part of a commission I was hired to do. I was asked to make two synthwave style tracks, and this is one part of the result! I don't have much experience with this genre, so I tried to take the closest example I could find of music I regularly listen to as a base to work off of. This led me to Kavinsky, the source of the thumbnail of this post. I regularly listen to French Electro artists such as Justice, SebastiAn and anyone else on Ed Banger Records for context. Kavinsky perfectly fits into that scene, but he does that style with a splash of 80's neon aesthetics. I tried to make my track sound in that vein, keeping the cool aesthetic in mind as I worked through the commission.
