Pop Up! - Here (Mere Remix ) [Lossless]

Hey Rotti Patrons!
Here's my new remix, a "Mere" take on a track off of the upcoming Pop Up! release, How's Music! I did a lot of sampling for my drums on this track. Come to think of it, there might be at least 4 or 5 tracks sampled here. For fun, I'll share a few of them here.

I took the main sample from here. I really enjoy taking old tracks from the 90s that I enjoy and putting a more modern spin on them. The hihats are also sampled from here, which you can hear at the very beginning of my track.

Shaker:

This track is some extremely oldschool hip hop, which sounds like it was run through a tape or something of that sort. The shaker here sounds a little distorted, but my track already had a lot of rough and clipped drums running through, so I figured I could sneak it in there.

There's a few more samples in there that I won't give a way, for Pop Up's sake (the samples I listed weren't used in the original song). I mainly want to show you guys my sample hunting process, which is that I like to look for songs that I genuinely enjoy and incorperate that into my music. I actually don't listen to 70's and 80's disco, so my samples tend to come from other places.
