I also love that she didnt tell him until way later that she only thought the strangers pen was "handsome", so she swiped it. How would you like to find out that you've been jealous of a pen...lol

Episode 8 feels like such a pivotal momentโone of those episodes where you can sense the characters are standing at the edge of something big. Theyโre beginning to confront their past traumas, but theyโre doing it so tentatively, as if theyโre afraid to reach out yet canโt help but try. Moon Gang-taeโs vulnerability in this episode really hit me. The way he struggles to balance his own needs with the responsibility he feels for his brother, Sang-tae, is so raw and relatable. And then thereโs Ko Moon-youngโIโm completely drawn to her journey. Watching her wrestle with that guarded, prickly exterior while longing for genuine connection is fascinating. Her layers keep peeling back, and I canโt help but root for her to find peace. That dinner scene, though. It says so much without needing to shout. Gang-tae, Moon-young, and Sang-tae sitting together felt like a fragile, tentative step toward creating their own kind of family. It wasnโt perfect, but thatโs what made it so real. And when they all ran out into the rain with the umbrellasโwow. That moment hit different. It instantly made me think of the flashback to Gang-tae, Sang-tae, and their mother when they were happy together. The parallels between those moments were subtle, but so beautifully done. This drama really has a knack for weaving whimsical fairy tale elements into such raw, emotional storytelling. Itโs a powerful reminder that healing is messyโitโs never a straight path. But in all that mess, thereโs something so human about the themes of self-acceptance, love, and the courage it takes to face your fears. This episode was a masterpiece in that regard.
