June 2022 Content Update

Chads, Gosus and Hax0rs,

I've been working a lot this month, mostly on my own projects, with some time throughout dedicated to external editing work as usual. Other than the batch of Arby 'n' the Chief season three commentaries I recorded, edited and released earlier in the month via Patreon, I aimed to deliver something mainline for you by its end, but unfortunately I can't quite yet.

I'm juggling two projects right now; the Arby 'n' the Chief season eight finale, "Apocalypse", and the pilot episode of my new comedic media review show, Mediabyss.

The finale is a massive project, the biggest I've worked on, which will take me months to deliver. My plan was to use the last week of June to finalize the graphics, text, visual and practical effects and other template items of Mediabyss, all of which I've been sitting on for some time now, as well as record and edit material for its pilot episode, but the process has revealed additional work to be done that I now can't complete before July. Some additional graphics, prop work and sound effects recording need doing, and I did two long recordings of analysis of the first season of the Halo television series, the currently-intended subject of the pilot episode, and I screwed up both recordings. The first was far too long and I decided against the way it was recorded regarding both audio and video. The second was done with a new camera setup and microphone under different lighting and not only was it also too long but, stupidly, the whole thing was out of camera focus. I need to do a third, with further-distilled analysis notes.

Once all the graphics, audio and video elements of my Mediabyss template are finalized then the analysis and comedic material of the pilot as well as sequential episodes will be relatively easy to throw together, and I'd like to release a few of those between early July and the Arby 'n' the Chief finale to keep people entertained, but I just need a bit more time to deliver something polished. I'm very excited to show you both.

Regarding the finale, as I've said before, it's all been written, all dialogue recorded, both synthetic and live voices, gameplay continues to be shot-- I spent most of June doing so-- live action shooting will follow, and much of what has been shot has already been compiled into a rough cut. I also may end up rewriting a scene or two, probably the very last one at least as I consider it so important and I think it's missing some things in its current state.

Content is on the way. I'm going to allow charges to patron payment methods to go through on July 1st and I hope none of you are sore about that. If you'd ever like to receive a refund on a recent charge, please let me know via a direct message on Patreon and I'll be happy to give it to you.

Thank you all so much as always for your generosity, support, patience and viewership. I hope you're all well.

I can't wait to see how you finish this season Jon! You said it's your biggest project yet so I've been constantly debating in my mind how long it'll be. Regardless of the length I know it'll be incredible.

Glad to hear it's all going well. I'm definitely looking forward to the new series and more director's commentaries.
