Autumn Drive through Yamagata Prefecture π

Just got back from my little roadtrip with friends! The weather wasn't ideal so didn't get the best photos, but even in cloudy/rainy conditions it's such a beautiful area of Japan.

- 10:30am Left Sendai

After that we headed off on a lengthy drive to Ibaraki Prefecture for the night, and then onto Chiba Prefecture in the morning - but I'll spare you the details of this part because it was just for a University event. But I got to see some friends and teachers I haven't seen in years and it was really lovely :D

I visited Sano this summer with my host family and ate some of the best ramen I've ever had, but had to wait a couple hours since it's one of the most popular places to get ramen in all of Tochigi lol! The city gift shop has a ton of Sanomaru merch and is super adorable if you have a chance to visit.
