We're back on the comic track with a small update. Caboose sniffs out some less-than-fresh company. It's kinda hot.
I want to thank you guys that stuck with me (and Doc, and Donut) while I worked on my Phoenix project and got that prologue video out. It's something that means a lot to me and makes me excited to get up in the morning, the same way I still get excited when I review the script for r[E]volution and see all the cool/weird/funny things still to come.
I LOVE to tell stories - you could even say I only learned to draw as a means to that. If I weren't a storyteller, I could probably make a decent living around my hometown painting birds every day. You should see my contributions to the walls at my grandfolks' house. Birds are pretty rad (they're like tiny dragons), but my muse likes bigger things, so I'm stuck working on these huge projects.
I want to find a way to keep working on both of these - the chupas' story AND this older thing that wants to come up out of the ashes of my awkward teenage writing, like some sort of mythical creature that's known for that or something. Confucius says it's hard to catch both rabbits, and he was a pretty smart guy. I'll do my best, though.
Keep trying new things--keep experimenting--always move forward. I'll make a post on Saturday to run some ideas by y'all, my good patrons.
Love you guys~
