D'awwww you too nice to my metalworkin'. Some highlights along edges/bevels go a long way, though. Haha Bethany "oh hey trouble found me" Gelrosa yesssss, put that on her tombstone. Hell yeah, had to double-up on those establishing shots to get the full feel for these big, empty, exotic structures. I always say that after I draw an establishing background I don't have to do it again for the rest of the scene - always a lie, I draw too much, gat dangit. (lmao throw up a wifebeater like a white surrender flag)

I cannot get over how GOOD THAT SHADING IS gawwwwwd those highlights on that metal. I AM TAKING SO MANY PAGES FROM THIS when I attempt my speedpaintin' backgrounds. This shit good to look at, and feels so mmm. Placed. There ain't much dialogue here, but MAN, no need for it. The previous scene sets up Tex's *reason*, and so we know WHY she's going in. Just a little blurb between her'n North is plenty enough to convey the feel of the scene. NO SURPRISE, either, that Young Beth:tm: is the same kinda "oh hey trouble found me as I was totally not looking for it" B she's always been (you rock it, girl) Mmmmm LOVE the last two panels bein' double-sized. Tha's good choice, gives a real feeling of depth to the buildin' she's wanderin' into. I like it (and I like the time in between the HURK and the BLEH, lmaooo, nice touch) Mysterious shit ahoy, let's go, let's go (hey wait, where's that guy's wifebeater? :jojothink:)
