I share everyone's sentiment that the drama is so nothing and so petty and destructive for no reason. 8:11 is something my friends and I really resonated with as religious trauma holders and I have trouble letting these things go, it's all I've talked about since discovering it. I'm glad you're prioritizing your own interests and enjoyment regardless and this whole crap was my final push to sub here so silver lining? Maybe there are others like me. Some people just really wanna punch down on small creators like you, just know that still enjoying community and creating media about something that turned out to be associated with some freak is not a defining feature of any part of that fandom. No crap people who like this series don't like that creepy guy. People buy from Amazon, Temu, etc. which is honestly far worse than making art, for example. Won't catch most people calling out whatever % of the population as sweatshop supporters though. Those "haters" are really misguided frankly. Again, I hope you find joy in what you do, stay safe.
