Small Omu Ruin [20x12]

A small (20x12) half flooded omu ruin good for a resting/camping party.

A squat stone structure remains intact, if not a little overgrown, with a singular entrance leading down into darkness.

The entrance in the Western wall has a short flight of stone stairs that descend 10' down into what once may have been a stone cellar. The well shaded and sunken interior remains cool even in the jungle heat, providing a further clue that perhaps perishables were stored or sold here.

The windows along the North and South wall are more like "arrow slits" - narrow openings with neither glass nor reed that a tiny creature could squeeze through - but were built for light and airflow.

Over the years, the floodwaters during tropical storms have washed down the stairs and eroded the floor tiles near the base of the steps, revealing their rocky foundation and creating a pool of rainwater, writhing with mosquito larvae.

The small map is useful for a random encounter during a short or long rest inside a ruined, overgrown stone structure. It's expandable in that there are several environment types that could be leveraged to explain the type of encounter (something in the water, something in the overgrown vegetation, something beneath the tiles, something the slithers through the narrow windows, something that comes in through the front entrance, something that is hiding in the ceiling).
