A shepard = one who leads the sheep. In our modern society we use the dog breed for that normally, This episode is showing off the "Lower Decks" so to speak that we dont get to see often in the main series. Bajorans are the main focus Species of the Show Deep Space Nine another mention Ive been through stages like all of them have as well, but im most like the deck 15 guy ive always been a loner just doing my best to get through the days taeya = head empty :p
