Important Update and Information

 Hey everyone,

since a few things in my life are constantly changing and some people have noticed a repeating upload-pattern of commissions and Comic Sins images only these past few days instead of additional pieces (whether them being digital or traditional), I wanted to give you some updates on my current situation.

 Daily/Weekly Routine and schedule

As many of you know, I‘m studying communication/visual design at HTK Art Academy for my future as an artist while having to work as a cashier at a local grocery store (almost an hour away from the location of my school) to pay my student funds. That means that I have a tight schedule between work and school that I need to balance while trying to put in the time to work on commissions, Patreon Rewards (in 2nd half of the month), Comic Sins and School related projects/tasks like Photography homework or preparing reports. That said, I can reveal that it‘s pretty exhausting to keep up with everything. Let me give you a sneak peek of my weekly schedule:

 Monday: Working on homework/school projects (if possible, squeezing in hitting them gym to find a balance for my physical health)
 Tuesday: School from 9 am until 7 pm
 Wednesday: School from 9 am until 7 pm
 Thursday: Work from 6 am until 12:30, then school from 2 pm until 4:30 pm
 Friday: School from 10:30 am until 1 pm, then work from 2:30 pm until 9 pm (if not even 10:15 pm)

Which means my only „free“ days are Saturday and Sunday if I‘m not scheduled for work on Saturdays or some events are coming up that I either need to prepare or spend time on. These are the only two days (in best case) left for me to recover from an exhausting week. That said, I assure you that I am not being lazy on these days but rather use them for drawing/taking photos if possible, mainly working on the important things I need to finish (for example drawings for an official client) or my own well-being (for example going for walks or spending time with family, friends, beloved ones, those who distract me from stress and problems etc.). Why am I telling you that? Well, this is my way of showing you that I do indeed do my best to keep you updated with art and projects for you to enjoy, but I don‘t have much of a chance to keep up with everything. I haven‘t really drawn anything for me and me only/personally since I dunno... weeks? Things that I have on my to-do list since months and that would make me happy to finally attack creatively. I have plenty of ideas, wishes to bring to paper or digital canvas, sketches I wanna make for in between, little doodles to just loosen the mood, big projects that would cost me hours to create or even images for others like family and friends, things that make people smile, but me as well. I haven‘t done that in a long time actually because I have to focus on important things which, and I don‘t want to complain but rather point out, keep me from improving through art studies, practicing etc. I stay at the same spot with my art because I don‘t get to work for any development - and believe me when I say I would love to create so many more original pieces and fanart. You have no idea.
If I‘m lucky, things will loosen up a little bit after June 20th, which is when most likely 2 bigger reports are behind me. Until then, you most likely can‘t expect any other art from me than commissions and Comic Sins (sadly no bigger paintings that are still WIPs, no funny doodles or traditional drawings in between and so on.). I feel sorry for that, really. I do enjoy working on commissions and fullfilling some people‘s wishes, but as much as they are neccessary, they are also time consuming that I could also use for drawing the things that make and keep me happy.  This brings me to my next point:

 Commissions and Patreon

I plan on editing my Commission Sheet in July, which is when I have school break for a month and only work that bothers me at least twice a week. That means I might be able to relax a little more, to be there for myself but also friends who I had to neglact for months, I might be able to procude more content (which I will be dealing with a little later in this text) and work on more commissions to earn some money. Editing the commission sheet will cause some prizes to increase, yes, but there might also be more options to choose from, more information and possibilities. Stay tuned for that, but just know that commissions are not only for saving up money for me, no, they are much more important:

As I said, I have to earn money through my job as a cashier to pay my student funds. However, I am not earning the amount neccessary to pay on a monthly basis, which is why my parents and grandparents decided to financially support me every month so I do have some money left for myself (which I mainly have to spend on food at school or work lol) or important equipment. It is something I‘m deeply grateful for, something I don‘t like asking for but that helps. Next in come commissions though since they are a source for me to earn some kind of pocket money, which is spent only for drawing equipment or neccassary things, barely any chance to save up the money I‘m earning, same about Patreon, so these two are important sources for me as well. This is why I decided I need to raise some of my prices and do my best to deliver as much content on my Patreon as possible. I do like Patreon as a platform but it‘s a little sad barely anone seems to know about the fact I have one. At this point I wanna make sure you don‘t misunderstand me:  I am NOT begging for money, I want to give people content for the support they‘re giving me and whenever I have the time and chance, I do produce exclusive content for Patrons to show how grateful I am. However, as you can imagine, I do not have the time to do so lately but I do plan on increasing the amount of uploads over there as well. I apologize to those pledging to me but not really receiving the amount of content they hoped for... I do what is in my might to make people happy with every little bit I create...

So in conclusion: Commission Sheet will be edited in July, Patreon will hopefully liven up in July, trying to earn legit money in any way I can to pay for school, equipment and neccassary things like food, clothes etc.

 Plans and Projects

I mentioned July as a month with more free time due to school break, so I did plan on creating a few things over this time if possible. I shall now name a few for you to (HOPEFULLY) look forward to:

 „What Have I Done? 3“ Comic Dub:

Snoopy and I finished our lines already and I only need to edit the last bit of them. I do want to bring this story to an end, a final video with everything it needs to beat the first two parts: Quality, emotions, everything. The only things left that are needed to finish this are the remaining recordings of ObabScribbler, GutiuSerenade and Animelodie and once I received them, the editing party can start. I so wish that I can finish the video in my school break time, It‘s what I‘ve been dreaming of for quite a while now.... Please let this be possible for me.

 Working on an original webcomic:

A couple of months ago I first developed the idea of 3 (yes, 3) full webcomics and several smaller side comics I would love to work on, some of them being MLP Related (for example a small story featuring Spitfire and Rainbow Dash or if there was the chance to do so, a long term comic featuring Lyra and BonBon that I have in mind since 2015 or 2016) but others original ideas that already have first design sketches, character designs, storylines etc. So I am prepared to work on at least one of them a bit further since everything I always wanted to acheive is a finished printed product of my own work, perhaps a comic/visual novel or something else. I‘ve been dreaming to have that printed work of mine in my hands. I hope I can use the time then to dig deeper into it.

 Traditional Painting:

I love painting on a real canvas with paint and brushes but I barely get to do it because of the reasons mentioned earlier and because of the space it takes. Therefore, I hope I can make some room for traditional painting days in my school break, just to loosen up a little, to get back to the good old stuff, to just let the spirits go free and wild in an enjoyable process.

 „The Corpse“ Music Video:

An idea Snoopy and I had a year or two ago that actually secretly grew to me over the time that I want to make come to life sooner or later over on YouTube in case Snoopy is still interested and eager to work on it like me.

Combining Photos with Art:

Basically focussing a bit more on photgraphy as well and combining it with art for a new kind of image for you to enjoy.

There are also some smaller things that I planned/hoped on doing like creating some Telegram Stickers, finishing some Speedpaintings, creating a new very detailed painting after „Light in the Darkness“ and replacing it as the ultimate art piece I‘ve made. And of course I would like to do more art studies for several things, whether it‘d being architecture, anatomy or backgrounds. So much stuff I still have to learn and study. Let‘s cross fingers I might also be able to focus on these as well.

Alright, these are some of the important projects/plans I have/had in mind so far aside from the usual stuff I wanna create like Spitfire/SpitDash fanart, society focused art and paintings. Hope you are interested in some of these.
