Tears of a Vicious Circle

ever since the first episode of Season 2 of HelluvaBoss came out, I was inspired to draw a picture dedicated to Blitzo and Stolas, who for me have a much deeper relationship than just plain physical fun. Meaning, they do have feelings for one another but do not know how to excactly communicate them and without proper communication, they are mostly trapped in a vicious circle of negative emotions...
I like Stolitz as a ship and wanted to create something touching, showing their ways of crying which we saw in the finale of Season 1 and beginning of season 2. Stolas being a softer character, he is just sad and crying his eyes out as he's trying to drown his sorrow in alcohol, while Blitzo not only feels sadness but anger/hatred towards society for treating him - an imp - so poorly and making their relationship towards eachother look like a joke... as if he was someone to be ashamed of being friends of while Stolas is royalty and important to society.
This is my interpretation of these two and their situation, so I wanted to bring it into a drawing! They feel lonely and yet they are still together. I chose the main colours of red and purple here and think they fit the characters very well!
I'm proud of this traditional piece if I'm being honest and especially like the way how I drew Blitz's face. But what do you think? Your feedback would be very much appreciated^^
