You're spot on in the beginning! All the so called white kids in my neighborhood were going crazy over this movie and playing Call of Duty when this came out! They were always talking about joining the military or had siblings that they would talk about who joined. That was definitely a time of extreme patriotism by so called white men in my area at least!
