That’s sooo hard! I used to work with dementia patients and it was so heartbreaking. It’s a hard pick I’ve seen first hand my grandpa be in the best shape living on his own and working out daily in his 70s but then his mental deteriorated and all of that stopped. I’ve seen old people physically not be able to do things and be so frustrated and trapped. Really both sides of the coin suck. If I had to pick my body stay physically fit.

As someone who had a long drawn out breakup (we broke up but continued acting as bf and gf for over a year without the title) it was miserable!! Clean breakup really is the way to go even though at first it feels devastating.
