Wash probably salary dumps him if they can but just as we did, Wash will need to add something nice to get anyone to take the Toole. He's an underwater player, his cost is much higher than his value. Kind of like a house in 2009. For any team to pick him up at full salary just won't happen. The only way these trades happen is for Wash to offer something of value like their draft pick to dump him. His vibe of I won't play defense, and I'm going to keep spinning, chucking and falling down until the cows come home is just who he is. His buddy Wiggins comes and goes, he's also underwater right now. Guaranteed money isn't good for many, think post office job, some naturally work hard, but some just take advantage knowing that they can't be fired.

He's got a lot of mileage, a lot of baggage, and the DPOY days are long gone. I'm 100% in the "it's time to move on" camp, not the "we can't win without Draymond" camp. I just hope the suspension makes Kerr change which camp he's in. There are 30 NBA teams, and 29 of them can win without Draymond (well, except the Pistons). Other teams can have good defenses without Draymond. So can we.

So I will not under estimate BP potential. This kid’s ceiling can be Nash. TJD also knows how to play. These duos are the right future for us. What we are missing now is a young pure shooter with a defensive mind, someone like Keegan Murray.

I recently saw an interview with him, didn't realize he had such a thick accent. I hate to say it, but when your English is that bad it can make people biased against you because let's face it, speaking well is the first way people judge your intelligence, but there's no doubt in my mind he's a very smart kid. With mentoring and reps he'll be an all-star for sure.

That 2021-22 season was only a microcosm of what he coulda been because he seemed more locked in Its sad to see him just accept the role of a shot chucking lazy guy... My coach told me once that 75% of the game is played between the ears and Poole is an example of that

2023-12-23 20:52:40 +0000 UTCFirst couple years I used to notice JK's eyes were flashing everywhere at once - he was clearly using his quick brain to take in everything happening on the court, learning the game at the NBA level. Now he's not doing that anymore - at least on offence, it feels like he's learned everything that's going to happen - knows how to read all the signals and predict the play, and leverage his athleticism to make the right read either finishing or passing. Great to see the high IQ in such a spectacular athlete.

Like you mentioned Alch there’s not a lot of room for anyone else when Draymond is in the building, and just seems like a weight is lifted off Kuminga’s shoulders. Would imagine whenever Draymond’s back there’s always gonna be a lingering thought in the back of everyone’s mind like “Draymond please don’t do anything crazy tonight” 😂
