He's not Iggy, but he shows flashes. Considering how much Iggy was a cornerstone of Kerr's system, it blows my mind how he didn't want to jump at the chance for some of that back.

2024-03-01 23:38:03 +0000 UTCI heard Marcus Thompson talking about how the team always comes out sluggish at the start of games because Steph is trying to get everybody going. Ball goes to Klay, goes to JK, goes to Wiggins, even goes to Dray for scoring attempts just as a "everybody gets to play" before the team starts playing for real. And that was why Klay off the bench makes sense, cause he's one less hungry mouth to feed from tipoff, and he can be as hungry as he wants with a bench unit after everyone else is already in rhythm. Moody as a starter isn't hungry like that, and he's not at risk of drifting off into la la land if he's not engaged like Wiggins can be. One less guy you gotta feed before you can start the actual game.

He’s low key STRONG AS FUCK too. Honestly do any of our other guys throw a decent lob? Also, EVERYONE outside of Steph should practice shooting 200 free throw a day, that shit is getting annoying.

If we stop giving charity minutes to Looney and Saric, I guarantee TJD would continue to blossom a lot quicker and we'd stop giving up huge leads.

I'm ok if they aren't calling the fouls that they use to as long as it's on both ends because we have a few bruiser ourselves. Regardless is just much more fun for me to watch. Because its the back end of a back-to-back in Toronto, which is just about the worst case scenario for any team, but mainly: last night was the HARDEST I've seen this team play since winning the finals in 2022. The shots didnt fall as often as we normally would like, but the defense across the board was actually more enjoyable to watch. Moody and Kuminga all were excellent. Draymond looked like his signature self, even Curry and Klay were locked in. It was a very refreshing game to watch. Now that said, I dont know how good the Knicks really are. I know Brunson is good, and by their record, they are no slouch. Did the Knicks just have a bad game? Or did the Warriors actually play defense that well? Considering how bad the Warriors offense looked at times, I would say the latter could actually be true. This is the first game in a LONG LONG time, nearly two seasons, that I watched this team look ELITE defensively. If they somehow pull off a win tonight, I would genuinely be shocked. The amount of effort they put in last night probably drained their legs. Kuminga and Moody are so fun to watch man. If only Kerr would play TJD more and stop rolling Dario and Looney out there to do a bunch of nothing.

Just watching them play is so much more intriguing. When JK is in the game, shit anything can happen and it's almost all good, Bully ball, High rise power dunks, rebound put backs from the rafters, the way he uses his left hand is amazing for a guy his age that can jump like that. Most guys who can jump never develop the left hand, see Wiggs for example.

I can’t remember a better defensive performance by a Warrior in the past five years. I could read Kerr’s mind in the 3rd quarter: “The Knicks will make a run; I’ll put Moody back in and that will be the end of that.” One of these days JK is gonna score 50. Thursday night officially closes the books on the 2-3 year debate about whether to trade the youngsters for one more Curry title or stick with them and hope they develop soon enough to help.

So he likes to hit Steph relentlessly, usually that works, but his back cut passes in the lane to cutters way too often don't work because Dray does not account for the shot blocker waiting on the cut. Watch CP do it, so much more efficient.

Have a first unit of (Steph, podz, Wiggs, dray and Kuminga) and a second unit of (Chris, GP, Moody, Klay and TJD). Change the closing line up based on what you need per game and the lineups should rotate with Chris, TJD and GP2 depending on the matchup and game situation in the late 4th

The stats for this game really showed moody and JK skills all over the court. I think Brunson only scored 9 points total with them as his primary defender, with moody holding him to one 3 pointer! I’ve been saying all nba defense since your first couple of breakdowns when he had 6 steals in 2 games. 3.we need to come up with names for our best defenders when they are locked in like this: Wiggins Island Dray’s Dungeon of Horror GP Correctional JK -? Everyone knows wiggins should be Robin or at least #3 to Kuminga some nights but he’s so passive most nights I think it kind of kills the flow of the team/game. When Moodys out there he knows exactly what he’s out there for and helps blend the unit together
