good afternoon Alch, I was looking at the roster and the answer for the size issue we have had. It's actually a player we have looked into in the past, Jakob Poeltl he does have a contract that is larger but he has been playing well to start the season averaging 16 and 11 and is a legit 7 footer. I watched the game against the Celtics and he looks slow up and down the court, when he gets to the other side he adds presence to the team, he played well defensively and protected the rim without having those crazy block numbers in that game against the Celtics. I did a mock trade, where we add size and shrink the rotation a little. I put De'anthony Melton and GPII and a 2026 first for Jakob and a second. the trade works out for both sides both contracts are expiring contracts and a pick to sweeten up the deal, for a big that is helping them win which is not something the raptors want to do. the trade can't be done until December 15th for De'anthony, but I feel like its a good trade for us. What do you think?

Hope he can pull it off with Draymond... but like Alch has said repeatedly, words don't work on Dray, you have to physically pull him out of proximity, which means it needs to be a team effort.

That’s the thing though, as his legs get warmer he gets in a flow, but he has to basically play on cold legs at the most random times. He does so well even on cold legs but I just see his play sometimes and it’s quite apparent he has to find his legs all over again, he’s already good but I know he’s better than the opportunity he gets.

They paid him so they should play him but they also paid Melton so you have to ballance it and progressively squeeze Moody into the starting line up as his D picks up.

Nah!
It's the NBA way to direct traffic. A way to bridal GSW. They did it all last year sending our opponents to the line to keep the games close. Don't forget the disparity in FTs particularly LAL got against GSW.
The NBA don't want Steph sitting out the whole of 4th qtrs. Bad for business. He because too much of a GOAT, more efficient, can raise his asist, steals, reps, ... which threatens LBJ GOAT conversation.

Alc I notice that as long as Dray taps that front foot and JK does not shoot 3s flat footed, they hit them near 100%.
Wiggs is doing what I said JK was doing a few gms back. Dive to the basket on every screen and transition. That's all KD had to do when he was on the team. STEPH AND Buddy gravity makes that middle open all day even with monster mashes on D. They just havevto finish violently to gain some respect. It would be interesting to know what percentage of JK minutes he played 4 and if he scores, rebounds or picks up fouls.
I am not worried about his contract because JK is 22 and a miniature LeBron in fitness. Other than Steph and Buddy, I have not seen any as durable and energetic as he. That's $$$$$ in the bank.
As for rotations, Kerr would be wise to continue the mirror structure of the starter and bench
1. Steph - Podski
2. Melton/Moody - Buddy/(Waters)
3. Wiggs - JK/GP2
4. Dray - Slow Mo
5. TJD - Looney
Melton, Waters, GP2 are most prone to injury so they should not be the prime after the All-Star game. Moody should have been ramped up by then.
Playoffs should be
1. Steph
2. Moody
3. JK
4. Dray
5.TJD
I don't believe Wiggs body will hold up.

Reminded me of early 90's Knicks/Pistons games. It's like a hockey game when one team gets way ahead and the price is fights and in this game possible injuries. Great call Alch on the Heat west, but the heat are cleaner.

Another way of showing depth is winning in so many different styles, able to stay composed against elbows and whistles. Dubs are F’ing DIALED IN, even shown in postgame tone and composure, especially Dray.
So much is MINDSET!

I totally agree, like a lot of people were wanting Kerr to start Buddy when Curry and Melton was out and he left him coming off the bench where he has established himself. I didn't mind Lindy getting the start. He was working himself into a nice offensive game before he got hurt. Coming down on that planted stiff leg was the issue. The force just jolts upwards and flexed his knee backwards. Really scary to see, hope it doesn't keep him out long.

The clips game is Monday not Sunday. Almost like the NBA knew to give us 2 days off before and after playing this rugby match. Also, I know the point diff matters but these whistles to bring the game so close REALLY feels like betting shit. Regardless if it really is or not the NBA is gonna have to tell refs to chill during blowouts. But then again who doesn't love a huge comeback? Tricky

Ya know what I never thought about. As I was watching this game I really noticed how much the ENTIRE PLACE is lit up when they take pictures. The flash is insane. Does that impact players?? I can imagine a bright ass flash in my peripherals while I'm going up for a shot might be a little jarring....it might just be the gray court making it worse? I feel like I don't notice it on the normal court but it's like every shot there's that bright flash I can't unsee it now haha.

There was a moment when Podz got fouled after he fouled someone (but didn't really foul him). He was talking shit at the line and Hield put his hand out to make him stop. Was a cool little moment to see Buddy actually being a leader out there which is something nobody would have expected from him. Buddy is the ultimate "just play ball" guy. I like him way more than I ever expected to.
