You're right! Moving fast means the other person's clock ticks slower, but if you're *accelerating* then the other person's clock ticks faster, hence the situation in the movie "Interstellar", etc. So, when the one twin accelerates to come back, their clock basically doesn't pass any time, while a whole bunch of time passes for the twin on earth.

This still tweaks my head a little. When I learned relativity, I thought the person experiencing the acceleration would view the other's clock as ticking faster. I'll figure it out someday!
