Trapped in Wichita [7/30/2022] - Short Story!

Hey peeps!

Just letting you all know that I'm trapped in Wichita, Kansas. o.o

I flew to Kansas with my husband's mother (as we're thinking of living in this state) but on the way home all our flights were canceled. The airport provided us a hotel room (and 12 dollars for food, lol) and told us we had to wait for another flight.

We may not be getting home for a few days, apparently. >.>

I have this month's short story! I've been working on it during my trip. Normally, I send it to people in my writer's group, and then an editor, but because of the delay, I might just have to post it without any of that. The internet is super questionable at the hotel, and definitely at the airport.

IF THAT HAPPENS, I'll just post it here, perhaps a little rougher than normal, but definitely before the end of day tomorrow. Sorry about the delay! Nothing works out quite like it should, lol
