"This tower, patched unevenly with black ivy, arose like a mutilated finger from among the fists of knuckled masonry and pointed blasphemously at heaven. At night the owls made of it an echoing throat; by day it stood voiceless and cast its long shadow.”
― Mervyn Peake, Titus Groan
Welcome to Castle Wewelsburg, where mysteries and secrets await at every turn. Nestled in the hills above the Alme brook, Castle Wewelsburg has a long and eerie history that is sure to give you chills.
The castle has a triangular layout, with three round towers connected by massive walls. In the 1930s, the castle became the headquarters of the SS; the infamous Nazi organization. It was here that they planned their evil schemes, conducted their twisted experiments, held their secret meetings, and was to be expanded into a complex which would serve as the central SS cult-site.
Many people believe that the castle is cursed, and that those who dare to enter its walls are doomed to suffer a terrible fate. Perhaps the most mysterious place in the castle is the North tower, which was designed to be the center of power for the SS, and it is said that strange things happen here at night. But don't let the the rumors scare you away. Castle Wewelsburg is a fascinating place to explore, full of hidden staircases, secret passageways, and ancient artifacts. Who knows what treasures you might discover?
If you're looking for a spooky adventure, come to Castle Wewelsburg and see what secrets you can uncover. Just be sure to bring a flashlight and a brave heart; you never know what might be lurking in the shadows...
