For those that subscribed using any IOS app...

Hey all!

Just wanted to get ther word out there that you should NEVER EVER pledge using the ios app on any Iphone, Ipad or any other ios-based devices not only on my patreon, but every other patreon out there.

Why you might ask? well, for one it's more expensive for your (you literally get charged 30% more on everything you pledged) and for another I don't see any of the money from those that do subscribe on the app only until 75 days (which is like 3 months)

I won't get into the nitty gritty why this happens. In a nutshell, apple wants a 30% cut from ALL of the apps that have payments that are also on the app store. They also withhold any payments for 75 days because of "safety precautions" . Pretty greedy and anti-consumer if you ask me

So what now? If you have subscribed on the IOS app, I humbly ask you to pledge or re-pledge only through your browser (if you still have a subscription, re-subscribing through the web, shouldn't charge you anything given you've chosen a similar tier) Any browser on your IOS device works as a work around, only the IOS APP has this weird extra charge and payment withholding.

You can still access all of your content through the app itself, only payments are being weird here. Help yourself by getting a cheaper price and help me get paid faster :>.

TLDR; Pledge through any browser if you're on IOS, not the IOS app itself. You get a cheaper price while also helping me get my payment ealier!
