Scraper and heat gun on the 3M strips since going to paint. Worst case a little sparkle to clean up scrap marks.

2022-03-12 23:45:21 +0000 UTCIndeed!!! Thanks for the tip. I have lots and lots of overhead lights haha only swapped out that room for now as I almost never have the other lights on. But that’s a fantastic suggestion. I also didn’t fill them all. Some are 2 bulbs, some are 3 but most can hold 4. I only installed 2 in all of them. Thankfully Walmart sells them in bulk boxes. Also saved the original bulbs and might throw them up on Facebook marketplace

Those LED tubes will cut your lighting bill in half. one suggestion - those tubes will age and dim so if you have a room with bulbs that don't get used as much, swap them after a couple of years and you will get the maximum life and brightness out of them.
