To save this custom profile, look under PROCESS on the left side, then click the SAVE button to the right of the profile from the dropdown menu. A new window will open. You might need to edit the text to get it to save. ~Select USER PRESET and hit OKAY.

Are you going by the estimated time or through actual printing? It's my understanding that the estimated times aren't always very accurate from what I've heard others report.

Can anyone recommend a profile for the Elegoo Neptune 4 printer for Orca slicer. Elegoo promise profiles for newer slicers almost a year ago but didn't come through yet most other are junk in my opinion Cura V4.8 works but few features. Seem like one of the few companies that have made user ease is Bambu Labs just bought the A1 mini and it just works. Maybe its time to through out my Elegloo and Anycubic Viper printers and go completely with Bambu Labs

I am getting a Elegoo Neptune 4 Max tomorrow. I have never done FDM printing (have some resin experience), how are these codes imported to Orca? from what i have read, it seems like the slicer to try at this time. I was also wondering how to load Gcode. I see some tweaks that are really help with reliability I want to try.

No I just posted that. I read somewhere that they don't work with the newest version of orca. I can't verify that though. Hopefully unc will chime in. I'm using some really fast profiles and if really like to see how I've tuned for quality looks so I can adjust.

Hiya Boss, just got a Max with rapid PetG and .6mm nozzle, are there any configurations you might be able to share. Neptune 4PRO Prusa in files is only .4mm and speeds seem off. Also, for this printer Orca or Prusa slicer (I dislike Cura)? Also, with your impeccable connection to Elegoo, could you ask them to add slicer configurations to their site for at least their filaments, I mean seriously should be a thing. Can anyone help me? What is Galaxy Black classified as? Im under the impression that it is a Silk PLA but Uncle Jesse does not have a profile or settings (whatever you call it, im new to filament printers) for Silk PLA and again, im under the impression that settings need to be changed for regular PLA and Silk PLA. I do not have a lot of Galaxy Black, im in Canada and it is hard to get here, so i do not want to waste it with trial and error. any help would be great.

Hey Twisted… I grabbed all the settings from Neptune 4 on the Orca profile and copied them to my 3 - it’s working fantastic! Best prints I have seen. Currently working on a Ghostbusters Proton Pack full scale. Try 4 pro settings, I even used Prusa settings for 6mm nozzle! No problems.

figured it out, you have to import them one at a time, through the same import process and then change the pulldowns for each thing, which is documented maybe somewhere...... I don't get all the hype over this ORCA, it feels pretty Janky coming from Prusa slicer which is a nice clean interface and makes sense coming from a 3d modeling background. This is like......I dunno what.

The Saturn 2 settings you have are Saturn S and will not import properly when selecting the Saturn 2 as the target printer.

Any chance any might have or Know where to get some setting for the Phrosen Sonic Mini? My Elegoo Saturn has been printing everything great. My Sonic Mini on the other hand is such a crap shoot. I can use the same file one sliced for the Saturn one for the Mini and the Saturn will print great but the mini will fail. I'm using the same resin and both slices are for their own printer.

UJ doesn't use Cura, doesn't seem to anyway. just S3D. He has those profiles on the link above for Resin.

Quick question, a few YouTube vids ago about adding Lychee Slicer profiles and support settings on here. I see the google doc is just Chitubox. I’m more of a Lychee Slicer fan but is it possible to see your setting you use. I have a Saturn S and my success rate is around 20%. I can do FDM all day but resin printing is like starting over but I’m all about learning too.
