AI 3D Modeling is Pretty Dang Cool - Repost

(had to delete and repost as the original wasnt showing the images)

Working on a new video showing off some of my results using 3DMaker.AI

New AI 3D Modeling service where you can upload an image(s) and it will generate a 3D Model for you.

Here is an example of a Melted skull i had Midjourney create that I then uploaded to 3DMaker.AI (3D FILE ATTACHED)

What's shocking to me is how clean the topology is for the models.

Now, the files still need some work to make them "printable" but whats cool about this skull is that each component is individually editable object - so each tooth, the chin, the globs, the skull, the pool on the bottom

This generation was $25 & there is a $40 option as well for more detailed objects.

Video should be up later today or tomorrow morning for this and I'm planning on doing some followups on it as well where I will be attempting to make some props using this service.

Let me know if you have some suggestions! Right now I'm going to be looking at making some props from Starfield!

Will be sharing the files with all of y'all as well to do with them as you'd like

I’ve already printed the model, looks good with my Elegoo Neptune 4 pro and your settings.

That skull is trippy, I can see why artist don’t like AI - wow!! BTW I bought the N3 Max based on your review/use - I love it!

Wayne Nero

Yeah, I’m hoping in the future the price comes down/maybe a subscription option

Uncle Jessy

Yeah, it might be great for those hard to find models or people who want to sell some files/prints

Uncle Jessy

So for people who are serious about it, they can recover their costs pretty easy. Not totally out of reach for a tinkerer, but also not something you would do on a whim.

Monkey Butler Labs

Yup, you can do whatever you want with the file

Uncle Jessy

Does that price allow you any rights to resell the model file you get or prints you make from it?

Monkey Butler Labs

Will be posting an update in a few hours on exactly that concept and i spent maybe 20-30 mins making something I'm super happy with. cthulhu skull :)

Uncle Jessy

That's pretty impressive. I will give it a try. As you mentioned, it seems excellent to generate some kind of 3D draft model and then, spend some time stylizing and refining it and skipping straight to the good part.

Holoprops

If they offered a monthly subscription without a limit, though - that WOULD get my attention.

Very cool concept, but the price pushes it out of the hobbyist market for most people. Granted, it's cheap for the commercial side, but their site doesn't seem like it's geared that way ... I look forward to seeing the full video when it's available.

Yeah a little steep which is why I figured I’d test it all out. Going to be playing around with a handle of different. I’m also hoping it continues to get better in quality as more people use it / tech evolves

Uncle Jessy

I was excited to check it out, but $25/$40 is ridiculous.
