It’s bittersweet to be reminded of things that are no longer there. That’s the brilliance of a show set during a very specific time period.

For however awful Billy is and was to her (before she had to threaten him last season), you could still tell she cared enough about him to not want the Upside Down to mess with him.

I remember because I had that "ah ha" moment, it's been years since I watched it too lol. So it's not new, they just thought they trapped him last season. I feel like the name makes even more sense now with the way it can get inside peoples minds and activate them.
