Sam Reid is also good in "The Newsreader" tv series. The first 2 seasons are on AMC. I was kinda shocked how good it is and just seeing his character there vs IWTV so different but the performances soo good.

Also Armand let Louis lay in bed suffering for a long time, and he FINALLY carried Louis over to the casket and THEN gave Louis some of his powerful blood to help Louis heal quicker. Armand is a piece of work absolutely that's why his nickname is Gremlin LOL.

2025-09-06 19:34:22 +0000 UTCSo, just followed you here because I couldn't wait another 2 wks for your reaction to this episode. This series just gets better & better every episode! The acting, the writing, the cinematography... everything. In this episode we see just how jealous, insecure, manipulative and cruel Armand actually is. Bear in mind that after being put in his coffin and fed. Louis was able to get up and walk very, very quickly...so why would Armand let him suffer unspeakable agony from Wednesday morning until Saturday night?! To torture him. He tortures Daniel. He tortures Lestat by telling him what Louis did, but not passing on Lestat's love. He's absolutely monstrous! Far, far worse than Lestat, who tends to lash out in fear ( when he's afraid he'll be rejected, left alone), Armand coldly & deliberately causes pain. He manipulates memories. He's brainwashed Louis. All the "Armand does this, Armand does that for me" from Louis, accompanied by the single piano notes? Those are Armand's words! Getting high is when Louis' true feelings get to come out. It's vaguely hinted at that these arguments happen every time, but that this was the worst (most honest?). Great reaction, and can't wait for the last 3 episodes. They'll blow your socks off! And I know it's been said many, many times but the casting is SO perfect! Everyone is brilliant, but Sam Reid just IS Lestat! He's straight from the pages of the books. X
