2025-09-15 02:54:25 +0000 UTCI feel you 100%. While I enjoyed and adored Lilo and Stitch, the ending really put a downer in this movie. Not only did they say Fuck you to Ohana by throwing Lilo into adoption in favor of giving Nani a college degree, they destroyed Jumba's redemption arc and made him the central villain instead of Capt. Gantu. Even Agent Bubbles was reduced to short, comedic relief scenes. What was the point of keeping the Ohana message if Lilo doesn't get to keep her family together? What a terrible change from an already perfect movie.

2025-09-14 02:20:34 +0000 UTCGotta say, I didn't really care for this one. Yeah Stitch was good but that's to be expected. The actress who plays Lilo was good. But other than that nothing landed for me. I didn't like the ending, I'm not a fan of having Jumba being the villain and cutting out Captain Gantu thus stealing away Jumba's redemption arc. And just like the Aladdin live action movie it just felt soulless. Not sure how this almost doubled the HTTYD live action movie. But yeah, Lilo and Stitch were the only good things I liked in this movie. 2.75/5 for me.
