After the AMPs escaped from the testing area, Cawthon tasked his assistant with devising a way to track them down. ICE is the result.

At a technical level, ICE is designed for highly precise reconnaissance. She is equipped with a doppler radar (located in her head and tail) and an advanced audio processing and filtering unit.

Tracking down the rogue AMPs isn't enough, however. ICE needs to be able to "convince" them to return.

ICE's frame has been highly modified from the standard AMP setup. She is hand-crafted for her duty. Her legs and left arm have more powerful motors to allow her to overpower targets with her capture claw. As a trade-off, her torso, right arm, and head are constructed almost entirely of lightweight carbon fiber. She isn't fragile, strictly speaking, but she is considerably weaker on the right side.

The most distinct feature of the ICE unit is her modular left arm. Standard she is equipped with a capture claw, to directly restrain and subdue her targets. The modular nature of the arm, however, allows her to swap devices to adapt to any situation as needed, with spare gadgets stored in a backpack.
