Yeah this is definitely going to convince the other tribes that Meteor Tribe has turned over a new leaf. Surely... way to fuckin' go Roamer.

Peentz

indeed. not only did this group invade their territory, but intended to drive out the meteors. That's also a near death sentence in Aedra. Even the fact that they invaded is a hostile act. If every tribe is left to their own sovereignty, they are well within their rights to kill invaders, then add in the fact they intended to leave the Meteors to the elements.

Was that the same dog who trailed Ronja and Rogio!?

Claire Fletcher

I agree. If someone burns down your house, food and walls in the winter so you are vulnerable to the elements and ghouls, expext to be killed. They just didnt want their paws dirty but what they did was still a death sentence since *they* dont know MT has allies. Now is Roamers behaviour something to be wary about? Sure. But it is completely out of line? No, I dont think so. These are still monsters that dont care they might doom 5! kids to their deaths, females that were suffering for *years* under the rule of the MT.

Totally agree with what you said. I just wish it wasn’t this guy getting his throat cut open. I thought he would of had alittle more time to the story since his encounter with Ronja and Rogio. 🥺

(This is gonna be a hot take, and I love an argument, so forgive me for being a little spicy on purpose. I love your opinions!) -- Aight. Sure, he killed someone who A) had forfeited, and B) for all we know hasn't attempted to kill male members as Axi had otherwise feared for. Bad Roamer, totally overreacting! Now the public will think that the Meteors haven't changed! O3O PFFt. Let's not forget that Ronja was at Tinget along with every other tribe save for the outcasts down south. Her presence spoke volumes, nevermind the fact that she offered up part of her land to lay ghouls to rest. Now, as a thank you and "I hope your tribe will continue to grow the right way", we'll set fire to your walls and rations during winter. I'm sure that won't spell major issues for you. Let's be real. They didn't kill anyone, but why would they risk the bad reputation when they can just wait it out? Nature will take care of the rest, or at least thin out their ranks. Roamer rightfully considers this an attack more than vandalizing, which might make murder a more fitting trade-off. I personally think he's falling into a trap, but I understand why he opted for the knife.

I'm very curious about what Roamer will tell Ronja. Still didn't expect to wake up to this kind of page

Wow.. Did not see that coming with Roamer.. such a cheap dirty play. I kind of feel bad for the guy. I was hoping when he turned to leave and seeing Ronja come around the hill top they would recognize eachother and maybe since she let him go before the guy might have decided to go a slow pace to possibly change his ways and convince the other dogs o not continue attacking and maybe join them in the future and show that the metors aren’t what they use to be.. buuuut that ain’t happening now sadly. Thanks a lot Roamer. 😑 I feel Roamer did this on purpose with Ronja about to decide if she will be joining the tribes together or not, What Kargo was saying afew days back after meeting Ferah of him possibly leaving, Roamer now thinks this can be reported just like it was when Kargo killed the traveler, him and Kargo can leave together so Roamer won’t have to lose him again. We shall see what Ronja decides.

I feel like this whole page is the beginning of a major black mark against Roamer’s (evolved) character. It’s one thing to kill someone in an ambush, but when you pick a fight you can’t win and then kill the other guy when he does as he’s told and walks away, it’s playing dirty. And I feel like Roamer is going to justify this because of past experiences and/or because he’s “not the same” version of himself Kargo used to know, and he’s not going to listen to reason that he might’ve done the wrong thing. I hope Ronja chews him out over it. He MIGHT actually listen to her.

I'ma agree with everyone else that this right here, this page, is a turning point for Roamer's character, and likely not necessarily in a good way; or at least that's what I fear anyway. Roamer is becoming what he saw in Kargo originally. The parallel to Roamer watching Kargo repeatedly stabbing Ranchie boys brother over and over in the beginning of the comic....This page reminded me of that, but with the tables turned; kinda funny that. This is a turning point not only for Roamer but for Kargo as well. Like I'm legit proud of Kargo, for controlling himself enough to just yeet the man, but then to call out to Roamer saying no stop. That's wow. This page has got me feeling a few different emotions all at once, its odd XD Like, proud of Kargo, but sad for Roamer cuz this is not like him. Roamer's light and hope he once had is so faided its practically gone now...and, I hate it but at the same time love it cuz of the character development. It's delicious and I'm ready for the next page with all my being. It's a shame though bearcheeks lost his life, it was definitely not necessary by no means. Roamer definitely crossed a line here, and sadly...well, he'll have to suffer the consequences that follow. I feel that Ronja is about to have to make some super hard decisions in the next few pages....

Okay wow that was....too far Roamer. He was leaving, and the way it looked, unarmed. I agree with people saying this seems like a turning point in his character arc. The warmth and compassion in his eyes is well and truly gone now. He'd rather kill and make sure him letting someone live and giving the benefit of the doubt to someone cannot come to bite him later. It makes me so sad, thinking back on how he was when he started this journey. It makes me afraid where he is heading and question wether he will be able to turn things around for himself or if this will be him turning into somewhat of an antagonist, if not even a villain (especially the music being titled "beginning of the end" would play into this) no matter how interesting that would be tho, i'd hate to see the warmth in his heart go out. He loves his family so damn much, he'd die for them. He'd kill for them. But can he *not* kill for them? Can he change further, learn to cope differently? Or is the damage done, and can never be undone? Yet again, i await where Kique takes this eagerly.
