Quick Little Poll
Added 2023-08-28 17:00:06 +0000 UTCThis is a semi-random question (but with October in mind, so not really). Which film do you prefer of the two, if you've seen them both?

well...Jennifer's Body is a film that explores the Megan Fox persona. Which is why it's the only film she's made that I like.

2023-08-28 22:18:44 +0000 UTCI saw Jennifer's Body way back in high school and don't remember anything about it and haven't seen Ginger Snaps. Really not into Megan Fox because she has the personality of a cardboard box in her roles.

I believe that the “connection” they have throughout the film is just Needy’s attachment to a one-sided friendship. She is enamored by Jennifer just as much as everyone else. And when Needy kills Jennifer, it is her severing that toxic friendship and moving on. That’s how I read it.

2023-08-28 21:20:24 +0000 UTCYeah it's tough. I do think Jennifer's Body is more of an interesting experience all around. And Ginger is more personal. I love them both, and different ideas and moments resonate. But I think I relate a lot more to the Ginger Snaps story. I think it's very important that Jennifer is rude. If she weren't it would ruin the entire point of her character. She is mean, controlling, jealous, and it's why she is so alone.

2023-08-28 17:33:25 +0000 UTCThis is a tough one. I think Jennifer’s Body is more engaging overall but Ginger Snaps ends up feeling like a more personal and emotional story, which I prefer. Ginger feels like a real person we all knew in high school but Jennifer is just so unlikable and rude towards Needy that I didn’t care what happened to her at the end. I guess I’ll say Ginger Snaps but Brigitte’s wig was so distracting lol
