Not so much. But can totally see where the scientist interpretation is coming in! that was just supposed to be a trench coat. The Carousel is a heavily exotic entertainment . While some don’t mind who see them enter, others are afraid of being judged. our protagonist is going to be a shy type, covering herself completely until out of public eye.
