The argument for Discord that nobody asked for. So many apps are spreading me too thin already, I am on Discord for other groups I belong to, I pop over to Patreon when I get a payment notification and then mass consume, and then leave until the next billing cycle. I get that this is the same reason people just want Patreon tho, so really there probably is no right answer. Both please. Ok that is not a properly worded argument at all, but I was going for brevity.
