In this collaboration with Radio Free Amanda, we discuss the first two chapters of Blackshirts and Reds. The book was written by Michael Parenti, a Marxist political scientist and historian who has long been a critic of U.S. empire.
Jorge discuss the first chapter on Parenti's introduction to the history of the rise of fascism in interwar Italy and Germany, who were the people that supported, and what the fascists did when they were in power. Amanda presents the second chapter where Parenti speaks on the process of revolution in the global south and the interventions the U.S. has done to prevent these movement of self-determination.
