I'm working on RE:Curse 0.3 and I wanted to give you some feedback on what's planned and what's finished.
To start with the changes that I'm sure will be in the next version:
First there I've done a lot of work on the UI, as you can see on the screenshot.
UI:
-Almost every button you can press has now a tooltip that appears when you hover it. Describing the action, the cost etc. 100%
-Some buttons also change the displayed image in its tab. 100%
-When you create a drone, an illustration should appear in the defences tab. It will be drawn randomly from drones illustrations. 0%
QoL:
-The game pauses when you don't have the focus of the windows anymore, but you'll get awarded double speed time when you regain focus. It is limited to 2 minutes, it will be possible to increase this limit later. 100%
Content:
-The upgrade tab. Here you'll be able to spend mana to get upgrade and unlock things like spells, units etc. 100%
-4 new upgrades. 100%
-1 new way to enslave humans. 50%
Illustration:
5 new drones illustration have been added, 2 drones illustration and 3 evolved version once you've got the upgrade "total assimilation" 100%
1 new illustration for the new type of follower. 0%
If I still have some time, I'll also add the next changes to 0.3:
Content:
-New tab for your sidekicks. Some of the characters you meet like Selene can become your sidekick. They'll give you unique bonus depending on how you recruited them. 0%
Story:
Illustrated scene in which you convert Selene to your cause. 30%
Interact with the first village. 0%
This is it, I hope you'll like it. 0.3 focuses mainly on adding content and improving the game rather than advancing the story. 0.4 will focus more on conquest/story.
Version 0.3 will be out on the 31st, so I'll probably post some artwork before then.
