Vote for the future!

As promised, I'm giving you the chance to vote for the next game I'll be making. I've got 3 game ideas, you can vote for more than one if you like, and don't hesitate to comment on the post if you have any questions/suggestions. If a vote comes out on top I'll do it anyway, if it's close I'll decide according to your comments and my preferences.

1) Idle game, RE:Curse Prequel/spin off

You'll play as Kate, the scientist from RE:Curse before the events of the first one, as she tries to produce brainwashing machines and runs into Kaï. The idea is a fairly classic idle game in terms of its main gameplay, with an attempt to vary the gameplay over time (at first she simply does her research, then tries to control the company, then the world, then fights the order, etc.).

2) 2D Card game like stackland, RE:Curse sequel

Continuing the RE:curse story where you left off, you're trapped in a prison in the middle of nowhere until a human finds you and you corrupt them. In this game, everything - enemies, resources, your servants - is represented by cards, and the goal is to free yourself from your prison. The idea is that you progress by finding card combinations (either by guessing/experimenting or by accumulating enough resources to "research" a recipe. For example, a servant on a tree will generate wood cards, 3 wood cards + 2 stone + a servant will make a building, etc. I've included a short video of a prototype I made back in the day, if you'd like to get a better idea of the gameplay, or you can watch "stackland", as the gameplay will be very similar.

3) 3D Roguelite survival, RE:curse sequel

Like 2), you'll continue the RE:curse story where you left off, trapped in your own prison. This time, you'll possess a human and attempt to free your body while resisting the assaults of your neighbors. You control your character from a 3rd-person perspective. The game is divided into 2 alternating phases. First, there's a preparation period, during which you can gather resources or explore the surrounding area. During this phase, the game is a bit like a survival game. And in the second phase, you have to defend your base from waves of enemies, fighting with your character and the traps you've built. This phase is more like Orc must die in terms of gameplay.

You can also capture your attackers and corrupt them into docile servants. Unfortunately, I don't have a prototype for this game, as it would be a waste of time to start coding the gameplay, knowing that some of the work is already done in the framework I plan to buy if you vote for this game. I have, however, included a video I made when I was creating my first video effect for the corruption spell. As you can see, the idea is to have a game where you control a character in 3rd person.

Comments

Well, that one of the reason I thought I could try this. I've liked stackland and didn't find that many game of the genre. Mind to tell me the reason you don't like the 3rd? Is it for gameplay reason or maybe you just don't like 3D? I personaly like the idea of using 3D assets as it align much better with my skillset when it comes to make beautifuls scene (More based on math and less on being able to draw xd) but aside from quality I guess it's also a matter of preferences.

I voted for the 2d card game since it sounded the most interesting/new but honestly either that or the idle game seem fine to me. If anything I'd rather vote against the 3rd option.
