Sneak Peeks, Plans and Updates!

Hiya, Patrons! Happy Wednesday, the first (I hope) of many update Wednesdays to come! Getting back on track! Yaaay.

Behind the Scenes Stuff...

Changing my YouTube release schedule has already had a positive impact on my irl workload, and I hope it'll only improve from here. At the risk of jinxing myself horribly (held breath and crossed fingers please!) I feel like I'm starting to get on top of stuff that was spinning out of control for ages. Paying back a bit of my sleep debt has definitely helped a lot!

I have managed to get six audios in the can in the past few days (five of which I'm actually satisfied with!) which feels outrageous; I never realize that I'm barely keeping my head above water until I'm not actively drowning, you know? Then I'm like, "Oh right. Breathing? requires?? oxygen??? sounds fake."

Thank you all so much for being so understanding about the schedule shift! I was seriously starting to come unglued. The extra breathing room is much appreciated!

Upcoming Audios...

The rest of January's schedule, including Patreon exclusives + the "oops! all pneumonia!" apology tour public exclusives that I've promised, is tentatively planned and mostly recorded! I've packed the slate with slice of life-y goodness, since Februdere will almost certainly be heavy on the more fantastical storylines.

Here are some thumbnails to whet your appetites!

January 17: Your Ex is Your Emergency Contact (YouTube; recorded; early access tonight/tomorrow)

January 24: Popular Girl Admits to Being Your Secret Admirer (YouTube; recorded; early access this weekend)

The sweet and ever so slightly spicy follow-up to Popular Girl Likes You and Confesses on a Dare!

January 31: Your Bodyguard is In Love With You (YouTube; pre-production)

Ideally, this one will be a full slice of life series to close out the month, but if I can't make it happen, just part 1? Maybe? idk. Depends on a few things. Not the least of which is getting all my Februdere ducks lined up in an orderly fashion.

January (SOON!): Stealing an Evil Relic (Patreon Exclusive; recorded)

January (SOON!): Cryptid Wants a Kiss (Patreon Exclusive; recorded)

January (SOON!): Your Roommate Accidentally Confesses Over Voicemail (Patreon Exclusive; recorded)

Looking ahead (WAY ahead!)

...to March? Maybe even as far as April? I know for sure I'll be doing at least a couple of sequels during those two, because they're already lined up:

Last half of Cocky Bounty Hunter Softens Up for You series...

Third (and final?) part of the Your Loyal Mech is in Love With You series...

I'd like to get to the next big chunk of Outcast Vampire Starts Falling For You before summer, as well, but I haven't decided where to fit it in yet.

And, I'm going to try and record most of 2025's exclusives over the next couple of months, while leaving room for Patron votes here and there, so I have even less to worry about between regular audios.

While I've loved making exclusives, as my voracious appetite for making longer, better videos continues to grow like a mutant man-eating monster, it's been difficult to juggle everything. No wonder, looking at my stats!

Audio Minutes Produced Sept-Dec:

There was a point in December where I really felt like, Why is this so hard, why do I feel so terrible and like I can't manage anything?! Why do I suck so much?! But then I crunched the numbers and realized: Ah. Yeah, that would do it!

I hope with Freditor, some more thorough planning, and a lot more mindfulness when it comes to work/life balance, I can sail through this year with fewer bumps than 2024 offered! (And if the universe is listening, please fewer literal bumps? I don't want to tangle with more stairs again anytime soon.)

Alright, that's it from me for now. I gotta take a quick nap, edit, then go to work, then edit some more, and then proper sleep, precious, precious sleeeeeeep. Maybe cram a Star Trek episode in there somewhere. Y'know, just for my mental health.

I'll see you soon!

xoxo,

Vel

glad your looking at that work/life ratio. your an amazingly hard worker and produce so much, glad your working on trying to integrate some of that "life" part into the equation more.
