Brenneke Magnum Crush - Suitable for dinosaur
Added 2019-08-06 02:31:07 +0000 UTC
As I mentioned in a previous video, I am one of few unlucky creators in the new Self-certification program on Youtube. You answer questions about what might be offensive to advertisers. One question is directed at firearms. No firearms, no problem. If you claim there is a firearm in the video, I learned the video automatically is demonetized, even if you haven't added a title, description, tags, etc. I'm hoping it will get reviewed and approved. Anyway, there is no reason not to at least share this video with you guys!
Wow those make 1 oz slugs look like plinking loads! Looks like you took them apart, did you measure the powder charge? I'm guessing over 50 grains.

This is a testament to how well the limb-saver pad performs. I planned to clamp the shotgun down on my rest to give Danny a break, but he never complained the recoil was getting too much to bear.

Jeff - Those Brenneke are elephant slugs..!! Also for big grizzlies and browns up Alaska way. This video inspires me to continue with the Super Paradox slugs loaded more for bear. Nice video as always. Stay well to you and Danny.... Steve

Per the pronunciation, if it's German, the German E is more phonetically sounding like an A. Ah, bah, say, day, eah.

Interesting. These strike me as a "dysfunctional" load, based on the extreme recoil. The slip-on supplementary recoil pad was shoved off to the side after one shot. I would think it would be very hard to maintain accuracy in anticipation of such violent recoil unless you drilled out the buttstock and poured lead into it to get the weight of the shotgun up into the 12+ pound range. I have a .458 magnum that I had built for me - Mannlicher stock, big rollover comb, and Mag-na-ported. Pretty heavy, and pleasant to shoot because of that weight - more of a push than a punch. In normal shotguns, that 4,000 pounds of muzzle energy is just too much to be comfortable.

Ha ha, you could see how they kicked. If they can punch a comment out of the ever stoic Danny, it must have been serious.

That was the slug to have in the third Jurassic Park movie.

Looks like corn to me. I'm from Iowa and I see lots of it.

I love these tests and I like to see the water jugs, I tested self-defense ammo with them when I lived in the country. One request, could you leave the notes on the screen just a little longer?

WOW...unless you upload out of sequence this had to be the fourth crop this year from that field. What crop is that? Do you know? I know it's Cali but that is freaky fertile/growing season kind of stuff.

Danny slugging out another test, literally.
