Twister 6 Midi-Shells - Impressive performance
Added 2021-05-11 00:10:38 +0000 UTCWe test the Twister slugs with the green BRP12 wads which made quite a difference in performance as well as keeping the slugs a little shorter. This increased the capacity in my 590 from 8 to 9 in the tube magazine. These are designed for smooth bores. The wad acts as a stabilizer. We had pretty good results using full rifling but I suspect the slug would actually perform better if it wasn't attached to the wad. This is something we'll have to test, of course.
