How I made the Double Donut shotgun slugs
Added 2021-09-06 01:31:14 +0000 UTCThis video shows how I created the Double Donut slugs. Pretty simple using only a drill press, a hole saw, files, and deburring tools. The most critical dimension, the outside diameter was done using a 7/8" hole saw. Each slug weighs 1/2 oz.

2021-09-09 22:37:45 +0000 UTCYup; that lead is dangerous. I started setting type (led, tin and antimony) and used line spacing called Leads and Slugs.when I was 11. I knew a lot of printers, all died of old age. I knew lots of fishermen that used lead sinkers; none I knew had lead poisoning. Tire shops used to use lead weights and plumbers used lead in their work too. OH! The tragedy!
2021-09-07 01:24:18 +0000 UTCCue the "Eww! Lead will kill you!" comments. However, I feel obligated to add, latex gloves will not take your digits for a ride if caught up in the spinning bits. And they will reduce your contact with the lead dust.
