12ga 18650 Li-Ion Battery Slugs - TESTED!

Viewers have asked us to "supersonic" 18650 batteries for many years.  Our goal isn't to just shoot random objects but the goal is to obtain ballistic stability and perhaps some accuracy if possible.   Because SO many people wanted to see this,  we gave it our best effort to present it to you.

12ga 18650 Li-Ion Battery Slugs - TESTED!

My sources are telling me that when used for self-defense, survivors will not suffer from depression.

Electrifying video! (Urghblgvlgl . . . ) A possible idea for a video: load shells with 00 Buck - or maybe #4 Buck as well - one in a shot cup, one with a sabot sleeve, one with no sleeve and just a cork wad, one with a pointed (conical, point forward) wad, etc. and measure the dispersion pattern at short distance - equal to a likely distance in a home defense situation. It would be a contribution to the understanding of how slowly shot disperses under various configurations.

I had a surefire battery cook off a loose 7.62x39 in my face Iin a very very unlikely event. If you want to know how exactly it happened I'll share lmk but I didn't wanna make this comment anymore unbearably long. I have pictures to prove

Would D cells fit in a 4 gauge? :-)

Lol, yeah,, many of these don't seem to last very long.

That's a good use for the cheap UltraFire batteries, so named because they're most likely to catch your house on fire. These batteries were pulled from dead laptop battery packs. The individual cells are tested and the ones that aren't quite dead YET are shrink wrapped with an UltraFire sleeve and sold as new batteries... usually with some ridiculous and completely impossible claim of milliamp hour capacity.
